Life is Good

God is faithful and I'm thankful. We welcome a brand new member of our family into the world today. She is beautiful, healthy, and well-loved. God always knows what to do and when to do it. He was showing out when he brought this baby into our lives. My cousin, at her young age, has had so many trials and difficulties for a young lady in her early thirties. But she is committed, dedicated, and a real life superhero. She is funny and is a ride or die chick. She does not play games and keeps it 100 all of the time. She is my first baby, and I love her dearly. I'm so proud of you.

I'm going to a retreat this weekend where I'm going to dedicate my time to finishing her first scrapbook

FALL IS HERE

Now that Labor Day and Halloween are over, it's time to prepare for Thanksgiving/Christmas. The days have passed by so quickly and I my schedule has been so packed. I'm just now completing Halloween layouts.

It's the End of October Already?

So its the end of October 2017 already! This year has gone by so super quickly. My crafting space is a mess and I lack inspiration. I have not created and designed a layout in several weeks. Hopefully, the holidays will spark my creativity.


Could the lack of creativity come from the 1 of 3 changes in my life? Or all 3?

1. Becoming more active in my granddaughters life,
2. Dating my high school sweetheart, or
3. mental burnout FROM being so busy?

Well, we did travel a lot during the summer... I guess I did decorate a lot more cakes than usual... I did reconnect with my high school peers more...  Well, I guess I did attend several more crops than usual... I guess that I have not taken the time to sit down, clear my mind and my schedule...I HAVE BEEN TO BUSY TO CREATE!!




Nevertheless, I will return. Royal Scrap Club has 2 more crops this year; and then 1 month of down time.

In the Studio with Gigi & KJ: Inspired!

In the Studio with Gigi & KJ was inspired by  countless nights of rocking my granddaughter to sleep in my crafting studio. Then one night during the weeks of teething, she was fussy; and I was thinking of ways to journal that vary moment. Then I went on a shopping spree for clothes and shoes...Then I was inspired to create a line of HI-QI layouts and page kits, monogramed specialty items, and other crafty thing surrounding baby showers and special baby moments.

Inspired is a new collection of baby themed scrapbooking kits and pre made layouts. Each layout is just what you need to help tell the story of your baby and chronicle their infancy.

Scrapbooking for the Soul

I hosted the first In the Studio: Monthly Faith and Esteem Building Workshop for 2017. It was such a blessing to me. I love the workshops and the communication between the ladies.

We used warm earth tones and the theme was Frist Things First. 


I try to always keep the workshops centered around sisterhood, self esteem, and Christ Centered. The conversation is always so good and uplifting.

We talked about seeking God first and giving him praise for keeping us from day to day and being our great provider.

We used pockets and journaling mats to talk to God and make our request known; as instructed Philippians 4:6.


During each  In the Studio: Monthly Faith and Esteem Building Workshops, the ladies are encouraged to dig deep and write.
